About SkipThisDJ
Evidence-based accountability for the DJ industry. Protecting couples and professional DJs through documented, verified reports.
Our Mission
SkipThisDJ exists to create accountability in the DJ industry through evidence-based documentation. We believe that both couples and professional DJs benefit when there's a transparent, fair system for reporting and verifying problematic experiences.
We're not just a complaint board. We require evidence, verify claims, protect privacy, and give DJs the right to respond. Our goal is fairness, not destruction.
Our Core Principles
Evidence Required
Every report must include supporting documentation. No evidence, no publication. Contracts, emails, photos, receipts, or other proof.
Fair & Balanced
DJs can respond to reports with their own evidence. We show both sides. Resolution tracking displays when issues are fixed.
Privacy Protected
Personal information is automatically redacted. Only business information and service locations are public.
Professional Review
Every submission goes through moderation. Neutral language enforced. Evidence verified. Legal standards maintained.
How We Verify Reports
Evidence Submission
User uploads contracts, emails, photos, receipts, or other documentation of their DJ experience.
Required: At least one piece of evidence (contract, invoice, email correspondence, or photos from event).
AI Analysis
Advanced AI analyzes documents to extract DJ information, incident details, timeline, and red flags.
- OCR text extraction from images and PDFs
- Entity recognition (names, dates, locations, amounts)
- Timeline reconstruction from multiple documents
- Red flag identification (no-shows, cancellations, safety issues)
- Evidence strength calculation based on documentation quality
Human Moderation
Trained moderators review every report for accuracy, fairness, and compliance with community standards.
- Evidence authenticity verification
- Neutral, factual language enforcement
- Personal information redaction
- Fair representation of both parties
- Legal compliance check
Publication & DJ Response
Verified reports are published with evidence badges. DJs are notified and can respond with their own evidence.
Evidence Strength Badges: Strong (3+ evidence types), Moderate (2 types), or Basic (1 type).
